I was sourced to repair a very broken and dated website, basically a rescue from being forever lost.
Home inspections can be a very competitive market, so it was essential to make sure the clients website was modern, approachable and trustworthy.
The website has handy info on home maintenance as well as the usual contact details and services available.
To modernize the website, I also offered the client a complimentary logo refresh. The original logo was outdated and used clipart. I was constrained by the need to keep the logo recognizable, as it belonged to an established business.
I used the original teal color and retained the checkmark, which the client requested. With these constraints in mind, I designed a new logo that combines a house and a checkmark. After a few iterations, the client approved the new logo.
